As women, we are often juggling family, work, errands, community involvement, and our social lives…its time to put our own well being at the top of the list. After all, the more we invest in ourselves, the more we can share that energy, balance, and vibrancy with all those we encounter.
Classes at Radiance Yoga give you everything you need to replenish your reserves and take charge of your life:
Yoga Sculpt combines strength building super-sets (using your own body weight) with yoga poses that release and lengthen the muscles after they have been exhausted. Yoga Sculpt is a results oriented workout crafted from our founder’s 20 years in fitness. It is a challenging, effective response to the goal of developing amazing strength and tone without the bulking created by other approaches.
Our teaching style is a great blend of challenge, encouragement, and inspiration…so you will feel fabulous after each and every class.
Some things to know before class:
- space is limited and interest is high, so register online to reserve your space
- if you have your own yoga mat, bring it; we have extra mats in class for those new to yoga
- have a piece of fruit of fruit or a small glass of smoothie 60-90 min before class…but nothing more…yoga feels best when there is no food in your stomach
- wear comfortable, fitted clothes so you can move freely
- plan to arrive 10-15 min early to settle in comfortably
- invite a friend….it’s fun to workout together and you’ll stick with your workouts longer if you have a dear friend to share the experience with

Yoga helps you quiet your mind and relax your body. By linking the breath with each movement and bringing your awareness to the present, you practice a way of being that can transform each moment of your day. When your body feels vibrant and your mind is still, life is less overwhelming and solutions become clearer. Gradually, your habits of moving, thinking, and being are transformed and you find yourself living from a more grounded, more gracious place.
Rachel is a Registered Yoga Teacher (200hr certification) with Yoga Alliance and has taught over 1,000 classes-including Vinyasa, Pre-natal, Gentle Hatha, Yoga Sculpt, and Yoga for Kids. When she is not practicing or teaching yoga, or exploring the forest with her 5 children, or enjoying a good meal, or reading a book, or following politics and world events, or with her friends, or caring for her dog and often-in-need-of-a-good-tidying-home, or savoring time with her amazing husband...she is resting deeply and gratefully.
